Where Housing Can Be Afforded Faster
The fastest way to acquire a home is for residents of the Donetsk region – it will take just one year of savings. In the Kherson region, the process may take two years. Residents of Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions can become property owners in three years.
According to OLX Work, the median salary in the Donetsk region is 33,000 hryvnias, in Kherson it is 30,000, and in Lviv it is 27,000 hryvnias. In Kyiv, this figure reaches 27,800 hryvnias.
Experts note that the high level of salaries in frontline regions is related to the difficulties in finding job candidates, as well as the influence of vacancies in the Defense Forces.
