The banking system of Ukraine and the National Bank’s Electronic Payment System (EPS) will operate as usual without breaks during the New Year and Christmas holidays. Throughout all holiday days, as well as throughout 2025, the EPS will continue to work 24/7 with the current calendar date, in accordance with the system’s Technological Regulations.

Features of Treasury Operations at Year-End
The National Bank has taken into account the requests of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine regarding the establishment of restrictions on EPS operations for this institution due to the end of the reporting year. On December 30, 2025, the EPS will operate as usual, and the foreign exchange market, the NBU depository, other National Bank systems, as well as the country’s banking institutions will carry out transactions as usual.
Payments by the State Treasury Service of Ukraine for the repayment and servicing of state debt, including those with a value date of December 31, 2025, in foreign currency through the National Bank and JSC “Ukreximbank”, as well as income payments or redemptions on domestic government bonds in foreign currency, will be carried out until 1:00 PM.
Transactions between the State Treasury Service and the National Bank in the national currency with a redemption date of December 31, 2025, including income payments and/or redemptions on domestic bonds, will be conducted until 4:00 PM.
EPS and Bank Operating Schedule for the Holidays
On December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026, the EPS will operate in standard round-the-clock mode; however, during this period, payment and information correspondence to and from the State Treasury Service of Ukraine will not be accepted through the EPS.
The banking system of Ukraine will continue its operations in standard mode. The foreign exchange market, the NBU depository, and other National Bank systems will not change their service schedules.
