The launch of the new crypto trading tournament, the World Series of Crypto Trading (WSCT), has been announced by Hash Hedge, a company specializing in providing capital to traders, and the AI platform Walbi. The final of this prestigious competition will take place on October 28-29 in Dubai as part of the Blockchain Life 2025 conference.

Eight Finalists and Unique Participation Conditions
The WSCT format ensures fair competition: all participants start under equal conditions, and by October 20, eight finalists will be determined. They will receive a fully paid trip to Dubai, including airfare, accommodation, and transfers. In front of thousands of conference participants, live trading battles will take place in the final between the best of the best.
Showdown Between Humans and Artificial Intelligence
For the first time in history, WSCT participants will compete not only against each other but also against artificial intelligence. Walbi, as the technological partner of the event, will present three algorithmic strategies based on AI that will trade in real-time. Thus, for the first time, viewers will witness how algorithms and traders compete under the same market conditions.
“Walbi is already being called ‘ChatGPT in the world of trading,’ and its debut at WSCT will demonstrate how humans and AI compare when placed in the same market conditions,” the press release states.
The winner of the WSCT tournament will receive not only an honorary bracelet — the symbol of the tournament — but also a cash prize and a capital management account from Hash Hedge, equivalent to the total profit of all finalists.
The organizers emphasize that the World Series of Crypto Trading is set to become a new tradition in the world of crypto trading — akin to the legendary poker tournaments that once introduced new stars to the world. WSCT aims to celebrate the first legends in the rapidly growing crypto market.
