The state enterprise “Guaranteed Buyer” transferred nearly UAH 52.73 billion to producers of electricity from renewable sources from January 1 to December 22, 2025, as part of payments under the green tariff.

Payment Structure by Year
According to the company’s infographic, the majority of the funds – UAH 45.31 billion – were allocated for electricity purchased in 2025. For electricity purchased in 2024, UAH 4.82 billion was paid, and another UAH 1.57 billion was for volumes acquired in 2023. Additionally, payments were made for previous years: UAH 1.03 billion for 2022 and UAH 0.01 billion for 2021.
Payment Level and Energy Structure
The level of financial obligations fulfillment by the “Guaranteed Buyer” to producers of green energy in 2025 is 95%. For 2024, this figure was 89.3%, for 2023 – 99.2%, and for 2022 – 66.2%.
In total, for 2025, the enterprise purchased 6.407 million MWh of electricity generated from renewable sources. The largest share of this volume comes from solar energy – 92.84%. In second place is wind energy with a share of 2.75%, followed by bioenergy at 2.56%, and hydropower at 1.85%.
