The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision to increase salaries for medical workers who are operating in areas where combat actions are currently taking place or may potentially begin. This applies to doctors as well as mid-level and junior medical staff. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

New Salary Levels for Medical Workers
According to the new regulations, medical workers in active combat zones will receive the following salaries:
- doctors — 40,000 hryvnias;
- mid-level medical staff — 27,000 hryvnias;
- junior medical staff — 18,000 hryvnias.
In regions classified as potential combat zones, salaries are set at the following levels:
- doctors — 28,000 hryvnias;
- mid-level medical staff — 18,000 hryvnias;
- junior medical staff — 9,000 hryvnias.
Support for Medical Workers in Difficult Conditions
“It is important for us to support doctors who continue to work in extremely challenging conditions and save lives every day,” Svyrydenko noted.
However, it is currently unclear from what specific date the increased salaries for medical workers in the mentioned zones will be implemented.
