Key Features of Nano Banana Pro
With deeper context processing and integration with Google Search, the new model allows for the creation of professional design work, complex layouts, 3D visualizations, prototypes, and educational materials. The model provides:
- Improved text reproduction, allowing for clear captions and paragraphs without distortion;
- Deeper context through access to current data from Google Search;
- The ability to create infographics, prototypes, as well as educational and explanatory materials based on real facts;
- Studio-quality images with support for 2K and 4K, lighting adjustments, angles, color correction, and local edits of individual parts;
- Accurate handling of compositions with up to five people in the frame and up to 14 images for blending.
Access Conditions and Business Opportunities
The platform is being gradually rolled out to users. Images can be generated in the Gemini app through the “create image” tab in “thinking” mode. Free accounts receive basic limits, while Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra users have expanded quotas. In AI Mode in Search (USA), the feature is available for Pro and Ultra, and in NotebookLM — for subscribers worldwide.
For businesses and developers, integration with Google Ads, Google Workspace (Slides and Vids), Gemini API, Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, and Google Antigravity is provided. Google AI Ultra users can utilize Nano Banana Pro to create video content in Flow.
Google emphasized the importance of transparency and security when working with AI-generated media:
“All media created with Google tools is embedded with an unobtrusive digital watermark, SynthID.”
Additionally, in Gemini, it is possible to verify whether an image was created using Google AI. For most users, a visible watermark (Gemini sparkle) is also retained, except for Ultra users and developers.
In September 2025, the Nano Banana editor became one of the main drivers of the growing popularity of the Gemini app in the USA. According to Appfigures, the number of installations of Gemini increased by 45% — to 12.6 million, allowing it to top the App Store rankings and surpass ChatGPT.
