Ukrainian gas suppliers have presented their price lists for May 2025. It is expected that the annual base offers remain unchanged, as the moratorium on increasing tariffs for essential utilities continues to be in effect.

“Naftogaz of Ukraine” has extended the annual tariff plan “Fixed” until April 30, 2026.
A cubic meter of blue fuel for residential consumers will cost 7.96 UAH. The Gas Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” serves 98% of consumers, which amounts to over 12 million households.
The annual prices of other suppliers range from 7.79 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter. At the same time, monthly prices fluctuate depending on market conditions. In May, there are 9 suppliers operating in the market, of which 5 offer both annual and monthly tariffs. Monthly prices vary from 8.46 to 21.10 UAH per cubic meter.
It is emphasized that for over 98% of residential gas consumers, the annual price from “Naftogaz” will remain at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter at least until April 30, 2026.
Furthermore, since the beginning of 2025, Ukraine has already contracted 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas, as reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. Additionally, Naftogaz of Ukraine has reached an agreement to purchase another 300 million cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Polish company Orlen. Naftogaz has also directed the raised financing for the urgent purchase of 1 billion cubic meters of gas.
