The European Investment Bank is providing funding of €100 million for projects aimed at restoring socially important infrastructure in Ukrainian communities. The application selection process under the “Ukraine Recovery Program III” (Tranche B) is open until September 30, 2025, with the goal of supporting regions in post-war reconstruction.

Key Priorities for Project Selection
Particular attention is given to projects that involve the construction and restoration of housing for internally displaced persons, the development of communal services, the construction of medical facilities, the establishment of shelters for educational and medical institutions, as well as the completion of construction for projects with a high degree of readiness, primarily in the education sector. The cost of each submitted project must not exceed €5 million. An important condition for participation is co-financing from the community at a level of no less than 23% of the total expenses.
Support for Housing Reconstruction in Bucha Community
A project titled “Housing Repair for Restoring Rights and Opportunities of People” (Hope) has been launched in the Bucha community of Kyiv Oblast, implemented with the support of the World Bank. This initiative plans to carry out major repairs in 79 apartment buildings located in Bucha, Vorzel, Myrotske, and Havrylivka. Grant funding of approximately ₴220 million has been allocated for the design phase, and the implementation of activities is expected to take place over one year.
