The European Union stressed the importance of the document’s compliance with Ukraine’s commitments within the framework of eurointegration, particularly in the context of the negotiation process regarding EU membership. These discussions have become especially relevant against the backdrop of a new version of the agreement, which indicates the intention of the US leadership to control Ukrainian resources and block access to them for European countries.

The British publication The Telegraph described the new version of the agreement as a “document for the expropriation” of Ukrainian resources.

According to the terms of the agreement, there is also an intention to block Ukraine’s advancement towards EU membership, reverting its role to that of a powerless transit country for Russian gas and oil.

Analysts believe that signing this agreement could turn Ukraine into a resource province for American industry, raising concerns about the future cooperation between the USA and Ukraine.

Furthermore, the Wall Street Journal noted that the new terms of the agreement could provoke an escalation of conflict between the USA and Ukraine.
