Elon Musk Announces Grok 3.5 for Updating and Enhancing the Human Knowledge Base

Elon Musk, founder of xAI and owner of X, has announced a major update to the Grok 3.5 chatbot. According to the entrepreneur, the new version of the artificial intelligence will focus on processing and enhancing the array of human knowledge.

Grok 3.5: A New Stage in the Development of Artificial Intelligence

Musk stated that xAI plans to use Grok 3.5 to completely rewrite the knowledge base of humanity. The model will not only remove erroneous data but also supplement the information with new insights that were previously absent from open sources. Developers will pay special attention to improving the system’s accuracy by eliminating so-called “garbage” data that often occurs in large data sets without prior verification.

We will use Grok 3.5 (maybe we should call it 4), which has advanced reasoning, to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge, adding missing information and deleting errors. Then retrain on that. Far too much garbage in any foundation model trained on uncorrected data.

Prospects for Grok’s Development and New Features

With retraining on updated data, Grok 3.5 will gain enhanced thinking mechanisms, allowing the model to analyze and structure information even more accurately. Elon Musk also does not rule out the possibility of rebranding Grok 3.5 to Grok 4, emphasizing the continuous development of the technology.

Previously, xAI had already integrated the Grok Vision feature into Grok, which enables the analysis of images from smartphones, as well as answering questions about products, documents, or road signs. This expands the chatbot’s applications in everyday tasks and provides users with even more opportunities to interact with AI.
