The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has presented the state digital platform AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System), which is designed to unite farmers, scientists, advisors, educational institutions, and government agencies in a single information space.

“AKIS will serve as a central access point to agricultural knowledge and innovations, where users can quickly find practical solutions for everyday tasks. The system acts as an agricultural assistant, offering recommendations for fieldwork, analytical materials, educational resources, and consulting tools. The main goal is to reduce the time between the creation of scientific developments and their implementation in production.”
Integration with State Registers
One of the key functions of AKIS is integration with the State Agricultural Register (SAR). Users who already have an account in the SAR can use the platform without additional registration. This significantly simplifies access to services for farmers and allows them to quickly start working with digital tools.
Professional Interaction and Knowledge Base
Currently, AKIS contains over 260 materials covering practical advice, scientific research, and analytical reviews. Additionally, the platform features a professional forum for agricultural producers, where participants can discuss current issues, share experiences, and receive consultations from industry experts.
It is worth noting that the government of Ukraine continues to implement measures to expand support for agricultural producers, especially in frontline and liberated regions. In particular, there are plans to increase compensation amounts, direct payments, and develop infrastructure to ensure the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
