Cost of Living in University Dormitories in Kyiv, Lviv, and Kharkiv in 2025

With the start of the academic year, students at Ukrainian universities are actively searching for housing, and the choice between renting an apartment and living in a dormitory becomes particularly relevant. The cost of living in student dormitories depends on several factors, including the size of the room, the number of roommates, the type of building, and utility rates. The university administration makes decisions regarding prices, coordinating tariffs with the student union committee. In some higher education institutions, the cost of living cannot exceed 40% of the scholarship amount.
