After the massive missile attack by the Russian Federation on Dnipro, which occurred on the night of June 2, there are 22 injured individuals remaining in the city’s medical facilities. Among the hospitalized are two children: a 13-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, both in moderate condition, as are most of the injured adults.

Scale and consequences of the attack

As a result of this attack on Dnipro, 16 people were killed, including children aged three and eight. A day of mourning has been declared in the city. Seven people also died in Kyiv, which, along with Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava region, and other areas, suffered missile and drone strikes.

According to the Air Forces, during the night, Russia launched a massive attack, firing 73 missiles and 656 drones at the territory of Ukraine. 40 missiles and 602 drones were destroyed. The main focus of the strike remained Kyiv.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a “massive strike” on what they claim are defense industry enterprises, as well as on fuel and transport infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. The agency noted that “all designated targets were hit.”
