Due to low demand, falling wheat prices, and increased competition from cheaper corn from the USA, the purchase prices for Ukrainian corn are experiencing a significant decline. Currently, export prices for Ukrainian corn range from $225 to $228 per ton, while feed wheat in ports has dropped to $210 to $214 per ton.

Large traders have temporarily halted purchases of Ukrainian corn, awaiting new contracts. However, this is hindered by the growing influx of cheaper corn from the USA, Argentina, and Brazil. According to reports, corn exports from the USA increased by 32.2% from May 8 to May 15, reaching 1.72 million tons, while the total for the season reached 45.543 million tons.
At the same time, Ukrainian corn exports in May decreased to 1.26 million tons, compared to 2.36 million tons last year, with the total volume for the season reaching 19.8 million tons. Forecasts for June indicate a possible decrease in the value of Ukrainian corn to $215 to $220 per ton, although current prices for supplies to Asia in July-August remain at $244 to $246 per ton.
