CoinShares Launches ETP Based on Toncoin with 2% Staking Yield

Trading Begins on the Swiss Exchange

The new ETP, named CoinShares Physical Staked Toncoin, officially started trading on the Swiss stock exchange SIX under the ticker CTON on October 28, 2025. To launch the product, CoinShares International partnered with Vine Hill Capital Investment. Investors can buy and sell this ETP in US dollars, with an expected annual yield from staking of around 2%.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the year, Toncoin has shown a significant decline: the market capitalization of the token has dropped by 59% and currently stands at $5.8 billion, according to CoinGecko. However, CoinShares is confident in Toncoin’s potential due to the network’s technical efficiency and its interaction with the Telegram audience, which numbers over 900 million users.

Features of the New Product and Market Impact

The new ETP allows investors to automatically receive rewards for network validation, providing stable returns. Transactions with the product are available exclusively in US dollars, making it attractive for global investors.

Toncoin was already part of CoinShares’ investment product lineup: this asset is included in the CoinShares Altcoins ETF (DIME), which provides access to Solana, Polkadot, Cardano, Cosmos, and other altcoins. The launch of the new ETP coincided with expanded opportunities for Telegram users — they can now purchase tokenized shares of 50 companies and exchange-traded funds through the xStocks platform, including instruments with dividend payouts.
