The Ukrainian and German delegations held talks on expanding cooperation in the field of investment to promote the recovery and modernization of Ukrainian industry. During the discussions, they emphasized Germany’s participation in the recovery of Ukraine’s economy and the development of effective mechanisms to support investors.

Partnership in Recovery and Modernization
Germany confirmed its readiness to assist in the recovery and technological re-equipment of Ukrainian enterprises affected by the aggression of the Russian Federation. Ukraine, for its part, aims to provide national production with modern equipment and technologies within the framework of the “Industrial Ramstein” initiative, as well as to expand the presence of Ukrainian producers in European markets.
Key Areas of Cooperation
During the meeting, the parties identified the main areas for further cooperation:
- Preparation and signing of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation to support investors.
- Organization of business forums to activate B2B contacts between enterprises of both countries.
- Recovery of industry, particularly the development of machine engineering for the production of defense and civilian goods.
- Increase in biogas exports, development of distributed generation, as well as implementation of joint projects in the field of mineral extraction and critical minerals.
During their stay in Ukraine, the German delegation visited a construction materials manufacturing enterprise of a German company. After the destruction of its plant in Donetsk due to Russian shelling, the company began constructing new industrial facilities in Ternopil region.
