Highlights of the Festival and Participation of Industry Leaders
The large-scale event took place at Nuanu Creative City in Bali and lasted for two days, during which over 100 sessions, 300 speaker presentations, and 100 side events were held. At the festival, guests had the opportunity to engage in discussions about institutional capital, the tokenization of real assets, and the future of Web3 in Asia. Key speakers included representatives from companies such as Binance, Ripple, Stellar, Fireblocks, Bybit, Polygon, Trust Wallet, X, BRI Ventures, and others.
The organizers emphasized the unique atmosphere of the festival: during the day, guests participated in trading battles from Pintu, chess tournaments with Anichess, mascot battles, and debates in Live Degen Sessions, while the evenings concluded with concerts and cultural shows. A special event was the Balinese Parade Ogoh-ogoh, which highlighted the connection between innovation and local culture.
“What I love about this event is that it feels more like a crypto festival than another boring conference. It’s about fun, energy, and inspiration. It’s a truly memorable experience, especially with the amazing diversity of participants,” said Rachel Conlan, Marketing Director at Binance.
Interaction Between Business, Regulators, and Innovation
Key sponsors of Coinfest Asia 2025 — Binance, Bybit, Gate, Polkadot, Sui, Coinstore, and others — created interactive booths that allowed participants to fully immerse themselves in the world of cryptocurrencies and Web3. Representatives from the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) were also present, including Chairman Mahendra Siregar and Executive Director Hasan Fauzi. In a statement, OJK emphasized:
“OJK supports Coinfest Asia and the Indonesia Blockchain Conference (IBC) 2025 as platforms for developing and strengthening the country’s blockchain industry.”
According to the organizers, the participation of OJK executives highlighted the strategic importance of the festival in shaping national policy regarding digital assets.
The uniqueness of Coinfest Asia was also noted by representatives of technology companies. Mudit Gupta, CTO of Polygon, emphasized that the event became a meeting place for both industry leaders and regulators with enthusiasts and everyday users, facilitating the rapid spread of innovative ideas into the mainstream.
The organizers are already preparing for Coinfest Asia 2026, which promises to be even larger, combining innovation, culture, and community. Felita Setiawan, Director of the Indonesia Crypto Network (ICN), noted that Coinfest Asia is a space for creating valuable connections and experiencing culture, where productivity and entertainment come together.
