Temporary Changes in Train Schedules and Routes
In certain areas of the Sumy region, there is currently no power in the overhead contact line, making the use of electric traction impossible. For safety reasons, the operation of passenger trains No. 144 Rakhiv – Sumy and No. 787 Tereshchenska – Kyiv has been temporarily suspended. The time for resuming operations and information regarding delays will be provided later.
The suburban train No. 6888 Sumy – Lebedynska is also delayed indefinitely, and operations will resume once the situation stabilizes. Changes have been made to the routes: train No. 6012 will now operate on a shortened route from Sumy to Trostianets-Smorodine instead of the previous route from Vorohta to Trostianets-Smorodine.
“Due to the improvement of the security situation, the operation of trains No. 144 Rakhiv – Sumy and No. 787 Tereshchenska – Kyiv has been suspended. The delay time will be communicated later. Suburban train No. 6888 Sumy – Lebedynska is delayed for an indefinite period. Operations will resume as soon as the situation allows. Changes have been made to the suburban routes: train No. 6012 will operate on the route Sumy – Trostianets-Smorodine (instead of Vorohta – Trostianets-Smorodine)”
Combined Operations and Situation in Other Regions
A combined operation scheme has been implemented in the region – part of the routes is carried out using buses in conjunction with trains. Due to the lack of power, several suburban services are running with delays, and changes to the schedule are possible.
In Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, due to the increased level of danger and interruptions in electricity supply on certain routes, changes in routes and delays of suburban trains are also observed, which may reach up to 1.5 hours. Passengers are advised to closely monitor updates regarding train operations and consider possible changes when planning their travels.
