Just 40 kilometers from Kyiv, in the village of Rozhny, lies a unique “Banana Farm” where real tropical fruits are grown. Breeder and inventor Anatoliy Patiy has created a greenhouse farm here, where bananas, pineapples, oranges, mandarins, and lemons ripen all year round.

According to visitors, the greenhouses operate using a patented technology that maintains a temperature of no less than 10-15 degrees without the use of electricity or heating. Among the owner’s achievements is the Kyiv lemon, a variety that Anatoliy Patiy himself worked on. This lemon blooms up to seven times a year and attracts enthusiasts from various countries around the world.
In addition to citrus fruits, the greenhouses also grow figs, coffee, olives, and other exotic crops. Visitors note the extraordinary aroma that fills the greenhouses, creating the impression of being in a true tropical paradise.
