Avery Ching, CEO of Aptos Labs, is preparing to speak at a hearing before the House Agriculture Committee of the U.S. Congress, scheduled for June 4, 2025. The event will focus on discussing the future of digital assets and creating an effective regulatory framework for the cryptocurrency industry.

Hearing Focus: Innovation and Regulation of Digital Assets

The theme of the hearing is “American Innovation and the Future of Digital Assets: From Blueprint to a Functional Framework.” During his speech, Avery Ching plans to share practical examples of blockchain technology usage, insights from Aptos, and the importance of legal regulation for the development of decentralized ecosystems.

“Market structure legislation is an important step forward, and I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how Aptos Labs and the broader L1 ecosystem can usher in this next era of the decentralized internet,” he stated on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

According to information from the official Committee website, in addition to Avery Ching, speakers will also include Michael Piwowar, Executive Vice President of the Milken Institute Finance, Chelsea Pizzola, Counsel and Strategic Advisor at Cumberland DRW, and Ryan Miller, Partner at the law firm Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
