Rapid Growth in ETH Portfolio Value

Within a week, BitMine increased the volume of the second-largest cryptocurrency in its portfolio from $2.9 billion (833,137 ETH) to $4.96 billion (1.15 million ETH), demonstrating an impressive growth of $2 billion. At the time of the announcement, the price of one Ethereum was $4,311.

As a result of this achievement, the company has become a leader among ETH holders worldwide, and its shares have entered the top twenty-five most liquid on the American market. The average daily trading volume of BitMine’s securities reaches $2.2 billion.

“We are leading our cryptocurrency competitors both in terms of the speed of increasing net asset value per share and the high liquidity of our shares,” said Thomas “Tom” Lee of Fundstrat, chairman of BitMine’s board of directors.

Development Strategy and Investor Support

BitMine launched its ETH treasury formation strategy on June 30, 2025, and completed it by July 8. In less than a month and a half, the company achieved key milestones, becoming a leader in Ethereum volumes and one of the most influential cryptocurrency companies on the public market in the U.S.

Among institutional investors in BitMine are ARK’s Cathie Wood, MOZAYYX, Founders Fund, Bill Miller III, Pantera, Kraken, DCG, and Galaxy Digital.

Currently, BitMine continues to actively work towards its goal of achieving the so-called “5% alchemy” of ETH.

For comparison, as of August 3, SharpLink Gaming holds 521,939 ETH, ranking second in Ethereum volumes worldwide.
