In the second quarter of 2025, the registration of new agricultural companies in Ukraine remained almost at the same level as last year: this year, 490 new enterprises were registered, compared to 496 in 2024. However, there is a substantial increase in the number of individual entrepreneurs (IE) in the agricultural sector — by 52%, from 934 to 1,500 new IEs.

Regional Distribution of Agricultural Companies and IEs in Agriculture
By the end of the third quarter of 2025, there were 82,900 agricultural companies registered in Ukraine. The largest concentration is in Kyiv — 11,900. The Mykolaiv and Odesa regions also rank among the leaders. Meanwhile, among the 116,100 IEs operating in the agribusiness sector, the highest numbers are recorded in the Vinnytsia (9,500) and Dnipropetrovsk (9,200) regions. Following them are the major agricultural regions of the east and south — Kharkiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhia regions, where, despite the military risks, small farms demonstrate high activity.

The top 5 agricultural companies in Ukraine by revenue in the first half of 2025 are:
- “Vinnytsia Poultry Factory” (MHP) — ₴26.8 billion;
- “Eridon Company” — ₴22.8 billion;
- “Myronivska Poultry Factory” (MHP) — ₴12.8 billion;
- Louis Dreyfus Company Ukraine — ₴11.5 billion;
- “Lebedyn Seed Plant” — ₴9.3 billion.
