Experts from the “Coins-Berries” resource note that the 2 kopecks coin from 1992 has never been in circulation, and finding it is a true stroke of luck for a collector.
“The 2 kopecks from 1992 is a trial coin of Ukraine that was never put into circulation. The first Ukrainian 2 kopecks were made of aluminum,” the experts explained.
Details of the Sold Coin
It is known that the sold coin had the stamp “AA” and certain defects: scratches and wear. No restoration work was done on the coin. The combination of rarity, trial status, and condition determined its high value at the auction.
