The Government of Ukraine has announced the launch of a one-time targeted assistance program of 6500 UAH for the most vulnerable groups of the population. According to the new rules, support will be provided to orphans, internally displaced persons (IDPs), pensioners, and people with disabilities.

Who is Eligible for Assistance
Payments are intended for the following categories:
- orphans and children under guardianship;
- children with disabilities in foster families;
- children who are forced migrants;
- persons with disabilities among IDPs;
- single pensioners.
According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the state is allocating 4.3 billion UAH for this program. It is expected that around 660,000 Ukrainians will benefit from this assistance.
How to Receive and Spend the Funds
The financial assistance will be paid to the Diia Card or to a current account with a special usage regime. Citizens will be able to use the funds for purchasing medicines, clothing, footwear, and other essential needs.

This initiative aims to meet the basic needs of people who are most in need of support in difficult socio-economic conditions.
