During the first four months of 2026, Ukrainians transferred 37.6 million UAH in voluntary contributions to the state mandatory pension insurance system. This information was released by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Statistics on Voluntary Contributions and Target Payments
From January to April 2026, there were 15,805 voluntary payments made within the state pension system, totaling 37.6 million UAH. Of this number, 13,763 contributions were made to form individual insurance records, allowing citizens to independently secure their future pensions. Additionally, 2,042 payers made transfers on behalf of others—relatives or close ones.

Dynamics Since the Launch of the Service and Pension Growth
Since the launch of the service in March 2023, through the Pension Fund’s electronic services portal, Ukrainians have made approximately 82,800 payments, totaling 189.6 million UAH. This indicates a growing trust in the mechanism of voluntary pension insurance and the popularization of this financial practice among citizens.
The average pension in Ukraine for January to March 2026 increased by 691.87 UAH, amounting to 7,236.49 UAH. For working pensioners, this figure rose by 744.28 UAH—to 7,904.38 UAH.
