As a result of a nighttime drone attack by Russia in the Odesa region, railway infrastructure facilities were damaged, leading to the suspension and delays of passenger trains. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among passengers or railway workers, and all trains were timely stopped at a safe distance from the impact sites.

Train Delays Due to Infrastructure Damage
As of this morning, several trains are delayed on their routes due to the aftermath of the attack. In particular, train No. 105/106 Odesa-Golovna – Kyiv-Passenger is delayed by 3 hours and 42 minutes, while in the opposite direction, it is delayed by 3 hours and 3 minutes. Among other delayed services:
- No. 11/12 Lviv – Odesa-Golovna (+2:30 hours)
- No. 127/128 Zaporizhzhia-1 – Lviv (+2:24 hours)
- No. 25/26 Yasinia – Odesa-Golovna (+1:50 hours)
- No. 135/136 Chernivtsi – Odesa-Golovna (+1:50 hours)
- No. 77/78 Kovel – Odesa-Golovna (+1:32 hours)
- No. 91/92 Odesa-Golovna – Kramatorsk (+1:16 hours)
The railway company assures that it is doing everything possible to minimize delays and return operations to the usual schedule.
Investigation of Attacks and Consequences for the Region
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, the strikes were aimed at the civilian infrastructure of the region. Despite the effective work of air defense forces, some drones reached their targets, causing a fire that rescuers promptly extinguished.
“Despite the effective work of air defense forces, consequences have been recorded… A fire occurred, which was promptly extinguished by rescuers. Fortunately, no one was injured,” the official added.
The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that during the nighttime attack on the territory of the Podilskyi district, transport infrastructure facilities were damaged. Currently, law enforcement officers and SBU representatives are working at the scene. An investigation has been initiated into the commission of war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
