The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution that paves the way for the distribution of the second tranche of funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB) amounting to 100 million euros. This funding will be provided for the first time under the guarantees of the Ukraine Facility financial instrument of the European Union. The funds will be directed towards the implementation of projects aimed at restoring social and critical infrastructure affected by Russian aggression.

Restoration of Educational, Medical, and Communal Facilities
The resources involved will be used for repair works in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, medical institutions, and communal service facilities. The total amount of funding within the Ukraine Recovery Program III is 250 million euros, of which the first tranche of 100 million euros was ratified in August of the previous year.
Kyiv Region to Receive Over 730 Million Hryvnias for Completion of Recovery Projects
In addition, the government has allocated over 730 million hryvnias for the completion of reconstruction works in the Kyiv region. The funds will be received by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, as well as the Bucha and Irpin city communities. The allocation of funding is being carried out from the remaining balance of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. This decision will allow for the completion of 30 projects in the region, including: 21 residential buildings, six educational institutions, two civil protection facilities, and one healthcare facility.
