Active work of crews on key routes

According to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba, 235 crews, consisting of more than 2,100 workers, are working daily on the country’s roads. In one week, 672 thousand square meters were repaired on state roads and nearly 397 thousand square meters on international highways.

Repair work is being carried out on major logistics routes, including the M-05 Kyiv – Odesa (121 thousand m²), M-06 Kyiv – Chop (78 thousand m²), and M-03 Kyiv – Kharkiv – Dovzhanskyi (42 thousand m²).

Restoration rates exceed planned indicators

Thanks to the round-the-clock work of road workers, the repair rates exceed the planned figures: 116.6% on state highways and 127.9% on international ones. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 1.93 million square meters of road surface have already been updated.

“Roads today are not just for movement, but also for logistics, evacuation, and ensuring the country’s needs. Therefore, we maintain the pace,” emphasized Kuleba.

Special attention is being paid to the repair of roads in frontline regions, which facilitate military, medical, and humanitarian transport. An additional 1.5 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the restoration of these routes, highlighting their strategic importance in the current conditions.
