Record Exports of Soybean Oil and Meal
According to the association “UkrOliaprom”, in the 2024–2025 marketing year, Ukraine increased soybean oil exports in natural terms by 52.5%, reaching a total of 521,300 tons. In monetary terms, revenues nearly doubled to $521.7 million compared to the previous year. The export of soybean meal also saw significant growth, highlighting the steady demand for Ukrainian products in international markets.
85% of soybean oil was exported by Ukrainian processors to EU countries. The leaders in purchasing Ukrainian soybean oil were Poland (345,300 tons at $344.5 million), Germany (22,000 tons at $22 million), Bulgaria (17,900 tons at $16.3 million), as well as India (36,700 tons at $35.3 million), Saudi Arabia (11,000 tons at $11 million), and the UAE (7,200 tons at $8.2 million).
Strong Exports of Rapeseed Oil
In July–August 2025, approximately 60,000 tons of rapeseed were processed in Ukraine, allowing for the production and export of 25,000 tons of rapeseed oil. Additionally, after the introduction of export duties on soybeans and rapeseed in September, it was possible to export 108,800 tons of rapeseed oil. The majority of the product—84.5%—was purchased by European Union countries.
The significant growth in export volumes confirms the competitiveness of the Ukrainian oilseed industry and its ability to maintain leadership positions in the European market.
