Ukraine has confidently established itself among the world leaders in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles. Each year, Ukrainian enterprises produce up to 4 million drones of various models, which are effectively used to target Russian military facilities both on the front lines and deep within Russian territory. In comparison, the United States produces about 100,000 military drones annually.

Expansion of Production and International Partnerships
In the face of constant threats and financial challenges, Ukrainian drone manufacturers are actively seeking ways to protect production capacities and develop technologies beyond the country’s borders. In particular, the company Skyeton has already opened a facility in Slovakia, attracting $11.6 million in foreign investment. Additionally, Ukraine plans to jointly start the production of interceptor drones with the United Kingdom.
International Support and New Sales Markets
European partners continue to support the development of Ukraine’s defense industry. This year, Denmark allocated $77 million for joint projects with Ukraine in the defense sector. At the same time, Ukrainian manufacturers aim to enter the European and U.S. markets, which are considered key for the export of modern UAVs.
An important step towards expanding exports will be the upcoming opening of the first arms export offices in Berlin and Copenhagen.
