Current Wholesale Prices for Vegetables and Fruits in Ukraine in November 2025

The last week of November 2025 marked a change in wholesale prices for key vegetables and fruits in Ukraine. The price dynamics were uneven: several items showed significant price drops, while some products became more expensive.

Price Changes for Vegetables: Decreases and Increases

Potatoes have become more affordable for wholesale buyers: the price per kilogram dropped to 9-12 hryvnias from the previous 10-13 hryvnias. Meanwhile, white cabbage saw a price increase — it is now sold for 9-11 UAH/kg, although a week ago the price was at the level of 7-10 UAH/kg. Other types of cabbage, on the contrary, became cheaper: broccoli now costs 40-48 UAH/kg (previously 40-50 UAH/kg), cauliflower — 20-28 UAH/kg (instead of 25-30 UAH/kg), and red cabbage — 20-25 UAH/kg (down from 20-30 UAH/kg).

The trend of decreasing prices was also observed in the tomato segment. Tomatoes are sold for 45-60 UAH/kg, while just a week ago their price reached 50-60 UAH/kg. However, cucumbers, which had recently decreased in price, have risen again: their current cost is 80-120 UAH/kg, whereas it was previously 70-120 UAH/kg.

Fruit Price Situation

The prices for garlic have noticeably decreased — a kilogram now costs 40-130 hryvnias (previously 60-150 hryvnias). The price range for eggplants has narrowed to 85-100 UAH/kg (previously 60-110 UAH/kg). Radishes have significantly dropped in price: they are sold for 23-28 UAH/kg, while just a week ago the price was 38-50 UAH/kg.

Among fruits, a decrease in price is observed for pears: they now cost 25-65 UAH/kg instead of the previous 30-75 UAH/kg. The upper limit of wholesale prices for apples has also decreased — they are sold for 20-45 UAH/kg instead of 20-60 UAH/kg. Regarding imported fruits, the price range for oranges has significantly decreased: they are now sold for 60-75 UAH/kg, while a week ago the price ranged from 65 to 130 UAH/kg.

“Wholesale prices for vegetables in Ukraine changed in different directions last week. Thus, the price of a kilogram of potatoes decreased from 10-13 to 9-12 hryvnias.”

Thus, the current market situation demonstrates active price fluctuations, allowing buyers to choose products at more favorable prices compared to the previous week.
