Main Theme of the Forum – “Spirit of Dialogue”

The main theme for 2026 is the idea of the “Spirit of Dialogue,” aimed at fostering the restoration of cooperation in a world where conflicting norms arise, tensions between alliances increase, and trust between countries erodes. During sessions focused on geopolitical issues and economic growth, participants are analyzing opportunities for establishing new models of cooperation even in a situation where traditional notions of security, sovereignty, and global integration are facing serious challenges.

“New models of cooperation can open up opportunities even if long-held notions of security, sovereignty, and global integration are turned upside down,” the WEF stated.

Focus on Human Capital Development and Investments

This year, the forum pays special attention to how governments and businesses can more effectively invest in people, promote the formation of a resilient workforce, and support professional development and upskilling of employees. Discussions will explore ways to ensure the well-being of the population amid dynamic changes and transformations in the global labor market.

The event brings together 400 leading political leaders, including about 65 heads of state and government, among them six leaders from G7 countries. Nearly 850 CEOs and chairpersons of leading global companies are participating, along with prominent analysts, experts, representatives of civil society, religious organizations, and the media.
