Statistical Portrait of Foreign Workers
Men make up the majority of foreign workers — 59.8%. However, growth is observed among both women and men. Over the year, the number of foreign women working in Poland increased by 4.4%, while the number of men rose by 5.8%. Compared to January 2025, the number of women increased by 0.9%, and men by 1.4%.
As of June 1, 2025, new regulations on the employment of foreigners came into effect in Poland. From now on, counties have the right to create lists of professions that will temporarily restrict access for foreign citizens.
“According to a study by BIG InforMonitor, nearly 50% of small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland employ foreign workers. In particular, a large number of foreigners work in sectors such as construction, trade, warehousing, and transport.”
Thus, the demand for foreign labor in Poland remains consistently high, and Ukrainians continue to lead among labor migrants in the country.
