The Deposit Guarantee Fund has put the assets of eight bankrupt banks up for sale

The Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals (FGVFO) has announced its intention to sell the assets of eight banks that are in the process of liquidation. This list does not include major financial institutions, such as PrivatBank or Oschadbank, which continue their operations.

Which banks are up for sale

According to information from FGVFO, from July 14 to 18, the sale of assets from the following banks will take place in the Prozorro.Sales system:

  • Bank Forward
  • PryvatBank
  • Megabank
  • Kominvestbank
  • MR Bank
  • KSG Bank
  • Bank Sich
  • iBox Bank

“This week (July 14-18), the sale of assets from 8 banks being liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund is scheduled in the Prozorro.Sales system. The starting price for all lots is 660.7 million UAH,” the statement says.

Structure of assets for sale

The total starting price for all lots is 660.7 million UAH. The largest portion of this amount — 560.8 million UAH — consists of claims on loans. Additionally, the following are up for sale:

  • real estate, land plots, and other fixed assets — for 98.8 million UAH;
  • securities — for 1.1 million UAH;
  • accounts receivable — for 0.002 million UAH.

All lots will be sold through the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales during the current week.
