Sybiga’s Reaction to the Actions of Russian Propagandists
During the Ukrainian delegation’s attempt to participate in the diplomatic reception, they were surrounded by representatives of Russian media, who loudly began to ask questions about possible negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. In response, Andriy Sybiga ironically remarked:
“Zelensky is ready to meet with Putin. The question is — why is he hiding?”
After the incident, Sybiga continued his work at the forum, where he held a series of important meetings with diplomats from the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and Switzerland. He reported the results of these negotiations on his page on X.
Prospects for Negotiations and the Impact of International Events
At the same time, the issue of compromise between Kyiv and Moscow remains one of the key points on the diplomatic agenda. President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly emphasized that Ukrainian society does not trust Russia, particularly regarding matters related to potential agreements.
Moreover, the ongoing war in Iran significantly influences the negotiation process. Due to the escalation of the situation, the American diplomatic team is currently refraining from foreign trips for security reasons, complicating the organization of broad international consultations on resolving the conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
