In 2025, Ukrainian farmers may benefit from budget subsidies for cattle maintenance. Specifically, farmers who keep between three and one hundred cows will receive 7,000 hryvnias for each animal. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

It is important to note that only those farmers who did not receive this support in 2024 will be eligible for subsidies in 2025. Applications for the subsidy can be submitted starting May 20 through the State Agrarian Register (DAR).
“The selection for a special budget subsidy for cattle maintenance is starting in DAR. … The special budget subsidy will be provided at a rate of 7,000 UAH per head – for those who own between 3 and 100 cows of all productivity types,” the statement says.
