Dynamics of Production of Main Types of Metal Products
In the first four months of the current year, Ukraine’s plants produced 2.36 million tons of pig iron, which is only 0.3% less than last year during the same period. At the same time, the volumes of rolled products during this time decreased by 9.1% year-on-year, reaching 1.8 million tons.
April 2026 Indicators
Specifically, in April 2026, steel production volumes amounted to 517.3 thousand tons, which is 25.3% less compared to April 2025. Pig iron production in April totaled 554 thousand tons, showing a decrease of 16.1% year-on-year. The volumes of rolled products for this month also decreased, totaling 460.8 thousand tons, which is 15.8% less than in the same month last year.
