The National Bank of Ukraine has updated the official exchange rates for May 12, recording an increase in both the dollar and euro against the hryvnia.

Dollar and Euro Continue to Rise
According to official information, the exchange rate of the US dollar for Tuesday, May 12, is set at 43.95 UAH. Compared to the previous banking day, when the dollar was worth 43.85 UAH, the currency has increased by 10 kopecks.
The euro also showed an increase, rising in price by 13 kopecks. The value of the euro on May 12 is set at 51.72 UAH, while the day before this figure was 51.59 UAH.

Hryvnia Exchange Rate in the State Budget 2026
In the draft state budget for 2026, the Ukrainian government sets the projected average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 45.6 UAH per dollar.
