Systematic Strikes by the Russian Army on Civilian Objects

Russian troops continue to regularly attack populated areas in Ukraine using various types of weaponry, including strike drones, missiles, guided bombs, and multiple launch rocket systems. Such actions cause destruction of vital systems, including electricity supply, water supply, medical facilities, and communication.

The Ukrainian authorities, together with international organizations, classify these shellings as war crimes of the Russian Federation, emphasizing their deliberate nature. The destruction of critical infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and energy and water supply systems, is viewed by the international community as an attempt to deprive people of basic living conditions, which bears the hallmarks of genocidal actions.

At the same time, the leadership of Russia continues to deny the facts of deliberate attacks by the Russian army on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, despite numerous testimonies of destruction and casualties among the civilian population.
