As a result of a drone attack by Russia, a grain gallery was damaged in the port of Odesa region

In one of the ports of the Odesa region, an enemy drone attacked port infrastructure facilities last night, resulting in damage to a grain gallery. Two people, a woman and a man, were killed in the strike, and several others were injured, including a 9-year-old boy.

Consequences of the attack: casualties and destruction

According to the information from the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and the Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Oleksii Kuleba, the damaged facilities included not only port structures but also residential areas and a maternity hospital.

“Last night, Russia struck Odesa region. Unfortunately, there are already two fatalities. We extend our condolences to the relatives and loved ones. There are injured individuals, and they are receiving all necessary medical assistance. Civil infrastructure has been damaged; the enemy cynically targeted the maternity hospital, residential areas, and port infrastructure,” Kuleba emphasized.

Emergency services and assistance to the victims

All emergency and utility services were immediately deployed to the scene of the tragedy, organizing operational headquarters to assist affected residents. Medical personnel are providing necessary aid to the injured. Recovery efforts and the elimination of the consequences of the destruction are currently underway.
