In the remote and harsh region of Antarctica, researcher Jay Anderson has recorded mysterious formations that strikingly resemble the shape of the Egyptian pyramids of Giza. These objects were first spotted thanks to Google Earth satellite images at coordinates 79°58’39.0″S 81°57’34.0″W, in the southern part of the Ellsworth mountain range.

The satellite images reveal three pointed peaks located in close proximity to one another. Anderson conducted a visual comparison of these objects with the pyramids on the Giza plateau — Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. This comparison has sparked numerous discussions on social media.

“The incredible similarity has caused a stir on social media: users are questioning whether the formations are man-made or created by natural forces. Some suggest that the structures could be evidence of tectonic shifts, while others suspect that they were built by an ancient and highly advanced civilization. However, there are also those who propose that the Antarctic formations were shaped by natural erosion.”

Proponents of alternative theories speculate that these formations may be remnants of an ancient civilization or evidence of global geological processes, such as tectonic shifts. Meanwhile, other scientists believe that the unusual shape is the result of natural factors, including centuries of erosion and freeze-thaw processes.

Geologists note that the pyramidal contours could have formed over hundreds of millions of years under the influence of extreme climatic conditions in Antarctica. The process involves water seeping into rock cracks, freezing, expanding, and subsequently breaking down the rock. Researchers estimate that the central one of the three formations reaches a height of approximately 1371 meters and has four steep slopes, with two smaller pyramidal peaks rising from the snow on either side.

It is known that the three Egyptian pyramids on the Giza plateau are arranged diagonally, and some researchers draw an analogy between this arrangement and the alignment of the Antarctic peaks. However, Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of California, Eric Rynio, insists that these formations are natural mountains that have taken on a pyramidal shape due to years of natural processes.

The pyramid-shaped mountain in Antarctica currently has no official name, but since 2016, it has attracted the attention of researchers and enthusiasts with various hypotheses, including the theory of a possible alien base hidden among the snow masses.
