In Ukraine, over 1.3 million citizens have taken advantage of the state fuel cashback program. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who noted that the initiative allows for compensation of part of the fuel expenses.

Conditions of the Fuel Cashback Program
According to the program’s conditions, vehicle owners can receive a cashback of 15% on the cost of diesel fuel, 10% on gasoline, and 5% on autogas. Based on current prices, this allows savings of at least 2 hryvnias per liter of autogas and at least 11 hryvnias on diesel fuel. The maximum cashback amount that one person can receive in a month is 1000 hryvnias.
“Under this program, Ukrainians receive compensation: 15% on diesel, 10% on gasoline, and 5% on autogas. At current prices, this allows savings of at least 2 per liter of autogas and at least 11 UAH on diesel. Overall, up to 1000 UAH cashback per month,” the Prime Minister reminded.
How to Use the Compensation and What It Can Be Spent On
Yulia Svyrydenko also clarified that the cashback received can be used in several ways: to pay utility bills, purchase medications, buy products made in Ukraine, or transfer funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a donation.
The fuel cashback program came into effect on March 20 – Ukrainians refueling at participating gas stations can get back part of their expenses.
Overall, according to the Prime Minister, the national cashback program is already being used by about 4.4 million Ukrainians. Since the launch of the fuel cashback, over 200,000 new accounts have been opened to participate in this initiative.
The state program will be in effect until May 1, 2026, so Ukrainians will continue to save on fuel and receive beneficial compensation.
