Oschadbank has set limits on money transfers for clients in April 2026

In April 2026, Oschadbank implemented new limits on money transfers for its clients. The restrictions apply to both P2P transactions between cards and payments using IBAN details. This decision was made in accordance with the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine.

What restrictions apply to transfers

The amount of the established limits depends on the client’s risk level. For account holders with low and medium risk levels, the monthly limit is up to 100,000 UAH. In turn, for clients with a high risk level, this amount is limited to 50,000 UAH per month. These rules apply to all outgoing money transfers, regardless of the method of transaction — between cards or via IBAN.

Who needs to consider the new limits

The introduced restrictions primarily affect those clients who cannot confirm the source of their income. However, according to information from the National Bank, the vast majority of Ukrainians do not make transfers exceeding the established limits.

Increasing the limit is only possible after submitting confirming documents regarding income to the bank. Such documents include OK-5 and OK-7 certificates, tax declarations, and payroll statements. After conducting a review, the bank may decide to increase the individual limit for a specific client.

The National Bank of Ukraine notes that such measures are aimed at combating the shadow economy, fraud, and the use of so-called “drops”.

It should be noted that currently there are no plans to cancel these restrictions. The innovations are aimed at increasing the transparency of financial operations and protecting clients from potential fraudulent schemes.
