The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates that will be in effect on Monday, May 18. According to the updated data, the exchange rate of the US dollar has increased by 12 kopecks to 44.07 hryvnias per unit, while the euro exchange rate has decreased by 17 kopecks to 51.26 hryvnias.

The changes in major currencies over the past few days are as follows:
- 1 US dollar – 44.07 UAH (up from 43.95 UAH as of May 15);
- 1 euro – 51.26 UAH (down from 51.43 UAH as of May 15).
Hryvnia Exchange Rate Forecast in the State Budget for 2026
The Ukrainian government has already determined the calculated average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar in the draft state budget for 2026. According to this program, the average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the US dollar is expected to be 45.6 UAH per dollar.
The official exchange rates for Monday, May 18, will be: 1 US dollar – 44.07 UAH (43.95 UAH as of May 15); 1 euro – 51.26 UAH (51.43 UAH as of May 15).
