Participation Conditions for Farmers
Individuals, individual entrepreneurs, and legal entities that meet the following requirements are eligible to participate in the program:
- Officially cultivate from 3 to 300 hectares of agricultural land;
- Operate exclusively in the following communities of Mykolaiv region: Halytsynivska, Horokhivska, Zavodska, Snihurivska, Shevchenkivska, and Shyrokivska.
Particular emphasis is placed on those farmers whose plots have been restored for cultivation after the completion of official demining or clearance of explosive objects. At the same time, agricultural enterprises that have already received support from FAO in 2024–2026 will not be able to participate in this program.
Funding Amounts and Application Process
Selected participants will be provided with vouchers ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 dollars. The funds are allocated exclusively for the purchase of necessary agricultural materials, preparation of land for field work, and restoration of production processes. Applications from farmers will be accepted from May 15 to June 14, 2026 through the State Agricultural Register (DAR).
To participate, it is necessary to fill out the appropriate form indicating the cultivated plots and undergo a needs assessment.
“After demining, a farmer needs not just access to land, but resources to quickly return it to work. Voucher support will help farmers in Mykolaiv region purchase the necessary materials and restore production in communities that have suffered significant losses due to the war,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Denys Bashlyk.
It should be noted that recently DAR also launched a program for farmers from eight regions, under which producers can apply for grants from 440 thousand to 1.1 million hryvnias.
