Capabilities and Prospects for Cooperation

Currently, Nord Drone Group manufactures about 4,000 UAVs of various modifications each month, and the company’s production capacity allows for an increase to 25,000 units per month. Within the partnership, AIRO will be responsible for managing production processes, conducting research and development, and providing expertise in the field of government procurement. In turn, Nord Drone Group will provide its own technologies, production resources, and established connections in the defense industry.

“The partnership with AIRO creates a powerful platform for the dissemination of our battle-tested technologies,” said the Ukrainian company.

Innovations in Counter-Drone Technology

At the same time, Lithuania is actively developing its own technologies to combat drones and smuggled balloons that illegally cross the border from Belarus. Several dozen Lithuanian companies have already submitted their proposals for innovative solutions to neutralize aerial threats. It is expected that the Lithuanian government will identify the most effective ideas in the coming weeks, with the implementation of new technologies occurring within the next six months.
