Changes in the minimum living wage

The minimum living wage is an indicator that is traditionally adjusted annually, and more frequently if necessary. Its increase is aimed at better reflecting current economic realities, as well as the rising prices of goods and services. From May 1, 2026, a new minimum living wage will be established for different categories of the population, taking into account inflation growth and the need for social protection of the most vulnerable groups.

Minimum salary: increase for workers

The minimum salary will also be increased. This will partially compensate for the rising cost of living and ensure workers have a better income level. The review of the minimum salary affects not only the public sector but also private employers, as it sets the lower limit for wages across the country.

“The minimum living wage and minimum salary are indicators that are usually reviewed annually in Ukraine, and sometimes even several times a year. These values are constantly increased to better correspond to…”

It is expected that the increase in social standards will positively impact economic stability and social security for the population. The exact figures for the new minimum living wage and minimum salary will be published in the relevant regulatory documents and official government announcements.
