The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced the start of the selection of Ukrainian startups to participate in the global competition Startup World Cup 2026. This event is considered one of the largest competitions for innovative teams in the world and opens unique opportunities for development and attracting investments.

Opportunities for Ukrainian Innovative Teams
Startup World Cup 2026 allows Ukrainian startups to present their projects on an international level, gain the attention of global investors, and attract funding to scale their products. As the ministry notes, active startups with innovative products that already have initial results, such as clients, sales, or MVP, are invited to participate. Projects must be ready for presentation to potential investors.

National Competition Final and Prospects for Participants
The startup that wins the national selection will represent Ukraine in Silicon Valley, where it will compete for the grand prize of 1 million dollars with teams from various countries. The final stage of the Ukrainian selection will take place on May 28, 2026, during the 2U Tech Forum. The final is organized by the EIT Community Hub Ukraine in partnership with Pegasus Tech Ventures and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted until May 15, 2026.
According to the ministry, over the past two and a half years, the international project Seeds of Bravery has already funded 318 Ukrainian tech startups for a total of 12 million euros.
