How Pensioners Can Change Their Pension Payment Method: Step-by-Step Guide

Pensioners in Ukraine have the option to choose how they receive their pension payments. In particular, they can switch from postal delivery to receiving funds on a bank card, change their financial institution, or update their payment details.

Step-by-Step Guide to Changing Your Pension Payment Method

You can change your pension payment method by submitting a relevant application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. This can be done in person or online through the Pension Fund’s electronic services web portal.

For remote submission, you need to prepare scanned copies of your passport, identification code, and bank details.

Steps for submitting an application online:

  • Log in to the PFU portal using a qualified electronic signature (QES).
  • Go to the section “Regarding Pension Provision” and select “Changes to the Pension Case.”
  • Select the item “Application for Changing the Pension Payment Method.”
  • Fill out the form and attach scanned copies of the required documents.
  • Check the accuracy of the data, generate the application, sign it with your QES, and send it to the Pension Fund.

After sending the application, you can track its status in your personal account on the PFU portal, in the “My Requests” section.
