In June 2025, the market for spot exchange-traded funds based on Bitcoin and Ethereum recorded a significant increase in the volume of funds raised. By the end of the month, the total investment in both segments amounted to over $5.7 billion, marking the highest figure in the last six months.

Details of the dynamics in spot Bitcoin ETFs
From June 2 to June 30, the spot Bitcoin ETF sector demonstrated its third consecutive month of positive investment inflow dynamics. The total amount of funds raised in the respective funds was $4.6 billion. Only the first week of the month saw capital outflows for Bitcoin ETFs, but from the second week onward, investors returned to the market and actively invested money.
By the end of June, the ten leading funds received the following investment volumes:
- IBIT — $3.85 billion;
- FBTC — $354.99 million;
- BITB — $199.63 million;
- ARKB — $86.97 million;
- HODL — $69.84 million;
- BTC — $52.87 million;
- EZBC — $12.51 million;
- BTCO — $5.36 million;
- BRRR — $4.53 million;
- DEFI — $1.17 million.
At the same time, the BTCW fund from WisdomTree did not attract new capital. GBTC from Grayscale recorded capital outflows of $34.77 million.

Growth of investments in spot Ethereum ETFs
The segment of spot Ethereum ETFs also showed record results: the total investment inflow for the month amounted to $1.16 billion. This is the highest figure for this asset class in the last six months, and the positive trend has continued for the third consecutive month.
Particularly significant growth was observed in the second week of June, when over $528 million was invested in just seven days — the largest amount since December 2024. The distribution of funds in the funds is as follows:
- ETHA — $917.34 million;
- FETH — $160.47 million;
- ETH — $69.42 million;
- ETHW — $26.28 million;
- EZET — $2.99 million;
- ETHV — $1.77 million;
- CETH — $0.48 million.
In the QETH fund from Invesco Galaxy, no movement of funds was observed, while ETHE from Grayscale showed outflows of $14.15 million for the month.
In contrast to the United States, the Hong Kong market experienced outflows — over 657 BTC in spot Bitcoin funds and nearly 515 ETH in the Ethereum ETF segment.
For comparison, in May 2025, the net inflow of funds into spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs was nearly $5.8 billion.
